Below are some of the latest designs of sandals, as you may know the Gladiator sandal is still growing strong and is a big hit this year, the gladiator can be worn with leggings, dresses, skirts and shorts. They come both ankle height aswell as knee height. They also come in a variety of colours, some also have stones/gems on them to make that extra special.

Changeroom Update

HEY readers:

In order to accommodate for our busy school and work worlds - we are taking a short hiatus. We will be launching the mychangeroom.com official FORUM in May 2008, and are currently working on a new design for the website.

Also, MyChangeroom is in talks with a few university/college newspapers who are writing articles on mychangeroom.com - we are very excited about this - and cannot wait to update you with the results.

So, as we work on these mychangeroom updates, and our exams- we will not be updating our posts as much as we hoped.

Want This!

 

We really want this Gathered Mod Coat from COSTA BLANCA. Its only 39.50 CAD, and it really gives us a Rachael Bilson vibe. In fact, We saw R.BILZ wearing something very similar recently,

 

 

Rachael Bilson was wearing the Hanii Y High Neck Balloon Sleeve Coat (which retails for way over $1000 US). Her jacket has latern sleeves and is a soft coco brown hue. But we think its a good alternate option for those of us who can't affort the Hanii coat.

Dress for Less

This Taffeta Top is from Forever 21 for $48.80 CAD. We think this is a steal! Why?

 

1. This top works as both a dress and a top. This means you can tuck it into your skirt in the day-time, and take ur skirt off and keep the leggings for your night-outings.

 

2. Pockets! Well placed pockets can be the perfect thing on a semi-casual dress. We, personally, LOVE them because you can stash your cell phone and/or money away without having to carry a purse or clutch.

 

3. Rhinestone Neckline. Normally, We wouldn't prefer rhinestones, but in this Taffeta Top it seems to bring down the shine of the gold dress. The rhinestones are larger, and seem to give the dress just enough detail to be noticed.

 

4. Flexibility of Accessory Colors. The great thing about a gold dress with Rhinestone details is that you can wear all gold (i.e. gold shoes, bracelets - however I wouldn't recommend any necklaces here) or you can wear silver to bring out the rhinestones. You can even go with a bright colour (like red) to bring out your inner cat-walk fashionista.

The Lauren Conrad Collection

 

Up to Down: Whiney Dress, Audrina Dress (White, Black and Royal Blue)

 

A second tier of clothing has recently been added to LC's clothing line. Her line looks like plain, yet cute items for everyday wear. My favs were the Whitney Dress (above) and the Audrina Dress (above).

The Whitney dress gives a cute girl vibe to it. I love the peep hole detail at the top. And the Audrina Dress (my fave colour would be royal blue) - gives a more party girl vibe out. I think it would look better with shorts and heels, than as a dress.
